Interventional & Surgical Innovations, LLC (ISI) Announces the Signing of a New Technology Agreement with Dr. Juan Parodi.

New York, NY - September 17th 2007 – Interventional & Surgical Innovations, LLC, and Dr. Juan Parodi have signed an agreement to develop and commercialize a unique and proprietary guidewire platform technology for greatly simplifying minimally invasive interventional surgical procedures. Guidewires are used in the vasculature to guide all types of medical treatments, such as angioplasty and stent delivery. ISI will provide both funding as well as development and regulatory expertise to bring this new product to the U.S. market in the 2008/2009 timeframe.

Dr. Juan Parodi is a prominent vascular surgeon and inventor, currently practicing at the University of Miami as a Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Mr. Hinchliffe commented, “We are thrilled that Dr. Parodi has brought this unique platform technology to ISI and are excited to have the opportunity to continue developing and commercialize this revolutionary new technology.
